My son turned fifteen in April. He still has Autism, still self abuses (although at least he bangs his elbows now instead of his head!), still has difficulty understanding things like "your game won't work because you broke it," and still brings our family a never ending stream of adventure and entertainment. Seeing myself in him

Have you ever looked for yourself in your child? I'm not talking about eyes, nose or other physical features, or even intelligence or attitude. I'm talking about behaviors. As a parent who has autism, I guess I have a semi-unique perspective on this. Most parents of autistic children are not such themselves.
